“He sounds like Yogi Bear!”

I was browsing a used-books store today, (one of my favorite pastimes) when I came across a delightful surprise: The Feynman Lectures on Physics… on audiotape.

Yes, it’s a set of those cassettes of magnetic tape, that I’m just barely old enough to remember, and some kids these days have probably never seen

I’m not sure if there’s much point in me buying them, though, because I don’t have a cassette tape player…
Now I know how NASA feels.

The post title is a reference to how a colleague of mine once described Feynman’s distinctive New York (?) accent, after listening to a recording of Feynman giving an interview or lecture.
